It has without doubt been a busy 6 months. We were preparing for a campaign in July 2014 ... and needed to create a faction for that - just 20 figures required.
Things may have escalated. I think I finished a painting challenge in 2014, and we estimate at year's end I've painted about 60 space marines, a 120 space squat army (from the awesome Mantic games) and another about 100 orks.
Yeah - a lot of preparation, but not much gaming done. But that doesn't mean it hasn't been fun.
We're hoping to put together some blogs and videos soon - as well as an assembled army ready to go, we're revamped out game space (it's now looking rather awesome) and experimented with some changes.
Hence the new name for the blog - out goes In The Name Of The Emperor and in comes The War Bunker. This is to space us away from just Warhammer a bit - we are still primarily about Warhammer 40k, but we want to look at other aspects of wargaming - we have been having a go at Mantic's Warpath and Deadzone, we have some Flames of War armies we're hoping to assemble, and we also want to be able to cover real history when we can.
So, watch this space ...
